The crazy cat was calm for a change.
I felt less calm here.
But calmed myself down afterwards with a walk along the shore.
Wednesday night was pub quiz night. Lots of fun with some fellow unicorns.
Thursday started with a little accident.
And continued by spending quality time building sand castles.
Experienced the frustration of never managing to get a good passport picture for official documents.
Saturday night was one of my best friend’s last night in Finland. The special occasion called for a glass of wine.
Paleo dinner versus my friends dinner.
This granny’s bedtime had passed an hour ago. Time for some coffee to stay happy.
A bit of makeup, a bit of high heels, letting the hem swing along the rhythm.
And we made it home after a fun night. After breakfast it was time to pack up the car and drive to the airport.
Saying “see you later, babe” to our dear friend.
To distract myself from thinking, I grabbed a fashion magazine to get inspired for the autumn.
Enjoying the last bits of sunshine while sitting outside reading.
I have amazing friends.
I got blessed by getting a wonderful lunch served for me by some friends. But not just that, because of my diet she made it all following the Paleo guidelines.
Salmon (my favourite) accompanied by a fresh salad.
For desert she had baked muffins: flour-free, lactose-free, sugarless but NOT tasteless!
My friend making board games.
Meanwhile I was trying out his style.
In the afternoon it was time to pack old memories into banana boxes….
…and afterwards the time to make some new.
As you can see, a bittersweet week in the life of Miia.
