“Lastly, she pictured to herself how this same little sister of hers would, in the after-time, be herself a grown woman; and how she would keep, through all her riper years, the simple and loving heart of her childhood: and how she would gather about her other little children, and make their eyes bright and eager with many a strange tale, perhaps even with the dream of Wonderland of long ago: and how she would feel with all their simple sorrows, and find a pleasure in all their simple joys, remembering her own child-life, and the happy summer days.”
― Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland
I’ve spent all day transforming 2,5 walls from salmon to white-coloured in my ex-walk in closet. I’ve decided to have people instead of crap in it. So first it had to change colour, so that people dare to go in. My head is constant in different places. Where there are rabbits with waistcoats. Holes to fall down in and cakes that makes you grow. Trying to separate what’s been fantasy and what’s actually been happening today.
Sweden has for the first time in history better weather than us in June. I’m wearing a woollen jumper and drink more cups of tea than even an average English housewife would. The S on my keyboard is barely working. I also dream of straw hats and endless beaches. Come summer come!
